' Bournvita is well known for Hrithik Roshan’s energy drink in Koi Mil Gaya and Krissh.'

No matter of fact can be in defense of ' We all are getting influenced by whatever we watch and listen '

Movies and series are just a combination of pictures and videos shown to us in a form of storytelling which creates a flow of situations in our head and if we relate to a story, we may put ourselves in the shoes of a hero/villain.

Marvel created its universe and got millions of people following them and living virtually in their land, the most relatable concept of the Marvel Universe is 'No matter how many powers you have, no matter how worthy you are, there are very low chances of you getting the love of your life '

Dr. Strange found a way out to save the world from Thanos but was not able to find a way in the universe to get his love of life.

I love you. I love you in every universe. It's not that I don't want to care or want someone to care for me. - Dr Strange

From Loki to Peter Parker, the powers are different, the universe is paradoxical, and life scenarios are opposite but there is one thing in common - They were not able to hold their loved ones hand for a longer time.

That's called relatability, while writing this newsletter edition, I am too recalling every scene of the Marvel Universe that touched my heart.

But there is a fact, that Ramadheer Singh stated in Gangs of Wassepur : "Hindustan me jab tak Cinema hai, log chutiya bante rahenge

The popularity of Marvel's characters and franchises has translated into massive merchandise sales, generating nearly $10 billion in licensing revenue since 2010.

You can get a simple bag with a black finish at 1/4th of the price of your fictional superhero's picture stricken bag.

Your emotional lead decision made someone else a billion dollar :)

The rise of Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms has clearly had a big impact on the movie business, especially on moviegoers, according to several studies and publications.

Customers who use OTT platforms can access a vast library of films and TV episodes at any time and from any location. Consumer behavior has changed as a result, with many opting to watch material on OTT platforms rather than traveling to the movies. The number of moviegoers has been continuously falling since 2002, according to a Deloitte analysis, and the trend is likely to continue as OTT services gain popularity. The worldwide box office took in $42.5 billion in 2019, down from $43.1 billion in 2018. On the other hand, OTT platforms have consistently increased their revenue. For instance, Netflix generated $20.2 billion in income in 2019, up from $15.8 billion in 2018. - ijcrt.org

“In cinema, some films lead most viewers through a similar sequence of perceptual, emotional, and cognitive states,” the researchers wrote. “Such a tight grip on viewers’ minds will be reflected in the similarity of the brain activity or high ISC across most viewers. By contrast, other films exert either intentionally or unintentionally less control over viewers’ responses during movie watching. In such cases we expect that there will be less control over viewers’ brain activity, resulting in low ISC.”

Intersubject synchronization (ISC) of brain activity as an index of mutual brain states.

Campusspeak examines these cinematic influences, we will operate from the following two foundations:

  • All film is political (somebody’s sending a message to you)

  • There are no mistakes in films– everything you see is intentional. (Before a film comes to the big screen, it has been seen by hundreds of sets of eyes. If a scene doesn’t fit with the general ”message” of the film, the scene ends up in the deleted scenes or gag reel.

Now you got the studies right and facts noted, let's jump into some questions that you need to answer by yourself:

  1. Why does every big-budget political movie/series go live just 4 to 8 months before elections? (google political movies and match them with the dates of elections)

  2. List market leaders in every market segment, and check out their brand ambassadors. Why is the actor's lead?

  3. If I am selling you a glass of black water with soda which is just in a clear glass cup, will you buy it? And if your favorite actor jumps off a cliff and holds that glass from my hand right now and states "My energy secret", will you buy it now?

These divisions are vastly impacted and tapped by movies today:

Politically, emotionally, agenda vise, and intensive crowd's mind diversion.

If I were the supreme leader of a nation today, rather than launch a political campaign I would launch a documentary on my political party's idol to state a better vision of my political party to the masses.

From your buying capacity and impulse to your political vote, everything is controlled partially (completely if you are not self-aware).

To get a reality check and be more self-aware, have a conversation with yourself and reflect on the past and your past decisions.

Ask these questions to yourself :

  1. Were you under the influence of somebody?

  2. Why did you wear this shirt/t-shirt today?

  3. Was this T-shirt liked by you or did any favorite actor/personality wear it I started wearing it unconsciously.

  4. What song you were singing in your free time? Did you buy something after your favorite singer stated good reviews about a product?
